Accepting a New Booking

How to accept a new booking on the Resonance mobile app.

How do I accept or decline a booking?

To accept or decline a booking request:

  • Go to Pending Bookings under Bookings in the Engagements tab and tap the session for more details.
  • Tap Respond to either Accept or Decline the booking request
  • Once you’ve accepted the session, go to Confirmed Bookings under Bookings to view your upcoming, completed, and cancelled bookings.

Whenever you receive a new booking request, you’ll also receive a push notification, text, and email with details about the booking. Once you’ve confirmed a booking, you can find details about the booking under Confirmed Bookings in the engagement tab.

In the session details screen, you’ll find all the information you need to successfully complete your service, including location details, a link and code for online sessions, and the employer’s contact information.

If you're having trouble accepting a new booking. These steps will guide you through the process of what a new booking should look like and how to accept that booking!

Step 1:   View the Engagements Panel

The engagements panel can be accessed by pressing the calendar-looking icon on the bottom menu. If there is a new booking, there should have a red notification circle.

If you are anticipating a new booking that isn't showing up after a few minutes. Try logging out of the app and logging back in!

Step 2: Pending Bookings

On the engagements panel, you can click on "Pending Bookings" to view all new bookings that have yet to be accepted or declined. A teacher can accept or decline a booking at their discretion.

The "Pending Bookings" panel will look like the following image.

Step 3: Booking Details & Resonance Video Chat

The image below is the "Booking Details" page. Here you can view the details of your booking and view the link for your video conference. This link is how you will video conference with your new client!

To accept/decline a booking, click "Respond" at the bottom of the page.

Step 4: Accept or Decline a Booking

When you click "Respond" you will be prompted with a pop-up page that asks the user to accept or decline the booking. Whether you want to accept or decline is totally up to you!

Step 5: Accept the booking!

This panel will show you the price breakdown of a booking.

When you click "Accept Booking" this booking will go to the "Confirmed Bookings" button on the "Engagements" page. (See step 1 for a reminder on what the "Engagements" page looks like.)
